Skydive

Yes, so I made it out of the plane, the parachute opened, and I landed without too much issue. This was my first time skydiving and it was amazing.  The energy, the thrill, the crazy way your stomach jumps up to your throat when you start tumbling towards the earth, the rush of wind pushing against your body, and the way the world stops when the cords of the parachute come up and your body jerks up but then is gracefully left resting in midair.  The silence that permeates the air as all that is present is you, the parachute and the desert below, I now understand why people do this for a living.  I would if I could.
